Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Machining)

  • Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Machining) will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the use of human, material, and machine resources for maximum efficiency
  • Validate the capabilities of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixturing, including CMM operation and data collection
  • Develop and maintain best practice documentation to support CNC machine setup, including set-up sheets, tool lists, and fixture documentation
  • Collaborate with vendors to test and trial upgrades for existing tooling and equipment
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably with junior standing, working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Available to work part-time (10-20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time in the summer, with flexible scheduling
  • Own housing and transportation in the Mequon, WI area
  • Technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and fixturing
