Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Machining)
- Mequon, WI
- Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Machining) will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the use of human, material, and machine resources for maximum efficiency
- Validate the capabilities of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixturing, including CMM operation and data collection
- Develop and maintain best practice documentation to support CNC machine setup, including set-up sheets, tool lists, and fixture documentation
- Collaborate with vendors to test and trial upgrades for existing tooling and equipment
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably with junior standing, working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Available to work part-time (10-20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time in the summer, with flexible scheduling
- Own housing and transportation in the Mequon, WI area
- Technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and fixturing
